So what u guys think of the new instance and the new patch content?I personally couldnt get in to the new instance last night 2 high latency and horrible laaaag. Did run hc's and got my Conquer's badge's
 
I did the instances (normal and heroic) and also the 25man normal raid.

It's interesting, but I kept dying in the raid in fire due to lag spikes >.<

The instance isn't that interesting...free loot basically...

The thing that kinda pisses me off about the changes is the fact that you can now buy T8.5 with heroic badges (Conquer Badges)...so now ever noob will have T8.5...sigh

EDIT: By heroic I mean heroic 5mans...
 
Thats the 1 downside any idiot who doesnt know the game can just suddenly get great gear and then when u get into Ulduar 25 man they useless
 
I love the new system in BG.. keeps the twinks away from me :D

XP in bg..

everyone twinks to the 9`s... so to stop their twinks from lvling they turn off experience. You now get XP in bg`s... but.. if you have your xp turned off, you can only play with others that have their XP turned off. So basically its twinks vs twinks for now :D

I didn;t go and check the dude yet where you pay to stop your XP.

My question is:

Once it's turned off can you have it turned on again? The patch didn't mention anything. I logged in just to do a few BG's and see what it's like but never really playes as yet.

O and another thing, all level 80's are now in a single BG as they can't get any more XP. I played a few BG's with my rogue and not one level 80 in sight.

O and there is a 20 minute time cap on WSG now and no XP for farming kills. People actually play to win now and not farm kills :)

So if you halt your XP at level 35 as an example. Get through all the Dungeons and get someone to boost you all the right quests. Get your toon Twinked to the max and the switch of the XP gain? That means you will be doing BG's for the next 4 level's as a twink so to speak....

But it does stop the bracket campers though :)
 
Well only thing I can really comment from the latest patch... its buggy as hell.
Worse than previous releases. Makes me wonder just how good Blizzards QA / beta testing of patch releases are.

Apart from the laggy server responses, DC issues... stuck in BG's not being able to log back in since it reported back "character with same name allready in game"... The hunters in general had weeeeeird problems... Like eg. having exstra talent point's. All pet talents were reset (which was most likely intended), stables being empty, relogging in and then your pets are there, pets not being able to attack bosses like mimiron anymore, Disengage doing weird things, Pets dying very very easy, the list goes on and on... I reckon another week before things start stabilizing again.

Few undocumented changes also discovered, like eg. a massive Explosive shot nerf with regards to damage (wheter its a tooltip bug or actual nerf is to be determined), Kill shot is FIXED now, which should help massive for PVP, deterrence seems to be working.

replaced ulduar gear with a tank and spank fight ...
 
So dont u guys think Bliz has made this game way 2 easy now? 1st nerfing Ulduar into non existance etc.
 
so now 1st mount is at level 20 right ? That means I have to buy my shammy warrior mage and my lock's all mounts thats a total of 5 mount's and riding skill...

if you bothered to read the patch notes they releasing 1 boss a week for 4 weeks, like they did with sunwell.

and i think the new badges are great, it allows people to get some pre-ulduar raiding gear, and giving them the chance to get into the end game raids.

Raiding should not be for the elitists only but everyone who pays there subs at the end of the month should be entitled to play the game. People going on about oh now nubs are going to get gear, that is just such a retarded mind set, they are entitled and allowed to play as well, they leveled the char to 80, they did all the lame heroics to get the badges they should be allowed to view the end game content as well. In the end they will wipe a lot if they dont know what they are doing etc..and will eventually get bored.

I did the 5 normal and 5 heroic, got 3 epics, nice addition to my healing gear, and a new tanking pants, slightly less than my current but increase in rating and dodge makes it better, due to the socket and bonus stat. Have not yet had a chance to look at the BG system. The instance is a faceroll, but fun none the less.

I am still finding bugs with the shadowing system, so half way in the marker seems to achieve best visuals, when its full its flickers sometimes.

i found the patch to be a lot more stable than previous versions, latency was a tad bit higher but this was to be expected with 10,000 people sitting at the summoning stone.

not to rain on your parade, but go and do yogg+0 and then you can say ulduar is being nerfed, and then do all hard modes, and link your achievements.

We did ulduar last night and there was no nerfing, in fact there was a few bugs which wiped us all the time, those being xt-002, and flame leviathan.
