Something tells me Blizz is shutting the doors on WoW and trying to get everyone moving to Starcraft.
Gear should be earned not gifted to any twat that goes into Crusader's Coliseum and spends some time mucking about. you should never replace an Ulduar epic with a normal mode one. Thats a mockery of all the hard work people put into getting into Ulduar let alone kicking some Freya roots!
Yippee for epic gems and epic JC'ing - this was a boost comparable to the Inscribing launch way back when.
Anyhow.. good luck folks
err shutting doors on wow, i really would love to know your sources,. Im sure blizzard is going to kill wow which has lets say 10 million subscribers... right.. starcraft...right.. remember not everyone is into RTS games..
Dude i have been following some of your posts ... Looks like all you can do is criticize other peoples posts. We are all entitled to our opinion and BelAl was giving his option, he did not say that is whats happening. Stop trolling the forums and either grow up and say something constructive or just don't say anything at all.
And ref to my post saying my gear is not in the top end ... if Naxx 25 and Ulduar gear is not in the top end where do you find your secret dungeons (Secret cow level or what)? Yes i have 1 crafted item and 4 vendor items(Bought with earned badges from top end Raids) the rest is in the top raids so in my OPINION it is top end gear (No the best) But top end none the less.
You can't assume that the higher the item lvl the better the gear. Furious items have a very high item lvl does that mean a PvPer should pass on raid gear cause his gear is at a higher item lvl ?
There are more things that need consideration than just item lvl, There is your talent build (spec), style of play etc. so just because an item is a high lvl does not mean it is the best to have. Although if the stats types are the same on both peaces (Which is difficult to find) the higher item lvl will be better, having more points in that stat type. To this i do agree, but in a lot of cases some lower lvl gear is better than higher lvl gear.
Dude read the posts again, it is not just two 70's, it is three 70's one 56, one 80, one 26 and time spent to lvl proffesion's, rep, Artifact items, Vault with 3 tabs etc..
Anyway this is a moot point as you have to be right cause that is what critics do and think. The sad thing about forums is people always find the sarcastic, know it all critic that think he/she knows all.
Mage, so you just stack spell power, intellect, hit. Not much to take into account via a talent spec.
If you look at some talents i named here i am sure some people would disagree that there are indeed some talents to take into account. Due to these talents some gear will take priority over other gear and one can focus more on haste for example. Not much to take into account via a talent spec.
Dude seriously Stack SP, Int + Hit ?? ZOMG learn the class before you make stupid comments.

Dude i seriously disagree, All stats come with the bonuses(Not set bonus).
Int, SP will always be on all caster gear so there is no need to focus on those stats. Whereas Hit, Haste and Spirit come on some gear. Now depending on your spec, You would opt for more spirit or haste or hit depending.
As a dps Mage you need to get a good balance between crit, SP and Haste. It is not a clear cut case of stacking INT, SP and HIT.
IF you tend to just look at the INT, SP and HIT, soon you will realize you are over capped with HIT, Crit rating (After raid buffs) is 38+%. For vanilla wow that was great, but not anymore.
You just need to balance it all out. Crit should be on the 20% unbuffed, Hit depending on spec should be capped but not over capped. once those two things are sorted then you can focus on other stats.
With my mage i manage 3.8 - 4.5k dps in Ulduar with his current Gear. That with a 500-600ms. So i must be doing something right.
In order:
Hit (till capped) > Spell Power > Haste and Crit > the rest should be there, but not as important as these 4.
Intellect should not be gemed. It should be fine with the gear you get. Only gem hit and spell power.
Yes you're right.
But you need to build on a desent Mana pool also. The trick I think is to strike a balance that suits your play style.
