anyone else get the new patch download today?
2.1.3-2.2.0? does this mean voice chat has been implemented?
 
105 megs - took a while with blizzards stupid downloader =)
but when i run WOW it still states that its version 2.1.3.....
so now why would the launcher download new patch data and not apply it? is this normal?
 
ITs updating the patch so long ....same what happened with BC.
Means you got the data or part there of but its not enabled yet.
 
aha ok.
Wonder how much bandwidth voice chat will suck up?
 
Same as Teamspeak i think.
Guess it all depends on how long you cyber or blabber in trade channel :P

You can disable it if you want and certain channels wont have it enabled for logical reason.... pls let trade not have it.
 
No public channels have voice chat on them. It will only be channels such as party that will be able to have voice chat.
 
pretty cool, hope it doesnt make the latency any worse :/

Wooooot 30min pala buffs!!! I cant wait. 15min rebuff cycle during kara raids is a bit to much. But it is sometimes the only thing that keeps me awake ;p
To be honest my blizz downloader started with the patch 3 weeks ago.... so i hope it is soon, have been waiting 3 maintenance days paying this will be the week, can only hope for next week.

Can you imagine gold spammers talking to you on the in game VOIP lol " Hi Friend, www.peons4hire.blah blah blah blah" that would be sick. Gold spammers are so irritating, i sure do hope they don't figure out how to abuse this system for their pleasure.
