New PC build for R3500

Hi i want t build a good computer. My budget is R3500 or even maybe R4000 the less the better.

The mobo must be able to support an HD6950 but must have 2 or more pci express ports and the mobo must support an intel core.
Must have an intel core with as much cores as possible for a cheap price).
2gb or more ram
I won't need a hard drive, dvd writer, PCU and a case.

If there is anything else that i am missing please tell me.
 
I used just Rebel Tech, who are the cheapest ime, and this is the best value for money I think you'll get:

Intel i5 2500K 3.3GHz Quad Core R1,845.77
Asus P8P67-M R1,234.11 (But this only has 3 total PCIE slots + 1 PCI, so maybe a P8P67 for 4 PCIE but no 8x/8x CF/SLI + 3 PCI or a P8P67-M Pro for 4 PCIE with 8x/8x for CF/SLI, but no PCI slots)
Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 2 x 2GB 1600mhz RAM R527.88 (you could drop the RAM to 2GB or 1333mhz, but you will get a performance decrease in both cases)

R3607 (more with P8P67/P8P67-M Pro) + shipping

The only thing missing is a CPU cooler to get the most out of overclocking the chip.
 
I read somewhere that sandybridge cpu's can't support crossfire is that true?

how much is the delivery charge at Rebeltech and how long does it take for them to deliver?

It depends how you have it sent. They have courier delivery only to main centres or otherwise by request to other areas, so I'm not exactly sure how much that would be or how long it would take. The stuff I have got from them I have had sent via insured SAPO at R100, 2-5 business days iirc.

The motherboards do support Crossfire, but only at a max of 8x/8x, because the CPU is limited to a max of 16 PCIE lanes for graphics. You can have a look here to see how it scales.
 
This specific Asus P8P67-M board's second PCI-e 2.0 does not support (16x) but only (4x)
Thus if planning to use the CrossfireX you would not be able to ge enough bandwith benefit from that second card slot on anything more than an Radeon HD5770.
If you plan to use two Radeon HD6850 get something with two PCE-e 2.0 (16x) slots.
 
Is there any other board and cpu that you can suggest preferably a quad core and a mobo that can support crossfire and both must be 2.0 16x ports
 
Gigabyte P67A-UD7 / Asus Maximus IV, but they're like R3k+ each I suppose.

You should be fine with a motherboard that has 8x + 8x CrossFire/SLI support.
 
Dont waste your time with CrossFire, you'll never use it.
 
3dgamer: just get an Asus P8P67-M motherboard and drop the SLI/Crossfire.

You can rather just buy a bigger graphics card when the performance of a single HD 6950 isn't enough. It's silly to buy a more expensive motherboard & bigger PSU if you're not going to utilize fully it from the start.
 
For 1 hd6950 what motherboard would you suggest that uses a sandybridge cpu and for that board what is a good and cheap cpu cooler?
