New pc speakers

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy new speakers for my pc. I currently have an old 5.1 system but there are wires everywhere and it's aged a lot so I thought I'd get something new.

I don't watch movies on my pc so a 2.1 system should be good? I do listen to a lot of music though so I'd like a decent quality set. Does anyone know a good set to buy that isn't majorly expensive? Under R1000 preferably.

So Yamaha and Bose is out of the price bracket?
Creative and Logitec then.

The Yamaha has a nice feature as it has dual inputs, bluetooth and headphone jack, so it can be used by pc/nb and phone or tablet.

Creative A320's done.
Had mine since 2012, All you need, and they around R500.

Bluetooth would be nice but it's not a requirement. I was looking at these:

Or is that too much money for something that will do the job just as well as something cheaper?

Both great speakers, you also cant go wrong with Logitech too.
You will get great sound from the A320's and those Logitech's, up to you bud.

Same here. I use the A320's on my TV & an ancient set of P320's on my PC. It's the best bang for your buck 2.1 set.

I've got the Logitech Z323, highly recommend them!
