Hi Guys

I am helping a friend build up a new PC. I would like some suggestions on what to get.

Budget: 9k
Purpose: Purely Gaming

Requirements:
Motherboard (Crossfire/SLI compatible, USB3 for front of case, SATA6)
CPU (Sandy Bridge)
Ram (4GB 1600)
PSU(Possibly?)

My friend has the following:
Case: Coolermaster HAF X
PSU: Coolermaster 650w

I will update this post with any suggestions you guys post.

Any help appreciated :)

Ok this is what I'm thinking of getting:

Motherboard: http://www.prophecy.co.za/asus-p8p67-lga1155-dualchannel-ddr3-pcie-p-87328.html
CPU: http://www.wootware.co.za/intel-core-i7-2600-3-4ghz-lga1155-32nm-quad-core-retail.html
Ram: http://www.wootware.co.za/g-skill-f3-12800cl8d-4gbtd-2x2gb-ddr3-1600-desktop-memory-retail.html

Cheaper mobo but it's hard as there is only a few available at the moment and i'd get the 2600K.. Never know when the OC bug might bite :)

But overall very good

thanks for the input, the reason I'm getting that specific motherboard is cause it meets every requirement he has, eg. amount of usb ports

hmmm never heard of that brand, any good? I see it has a 2 year warranty so I guess it doesn't matter at the end of the day. I think I will change the 6870 to that then, going to see if it can be flashed to a 6970 :D scratch that rather leave it as 6950

Gpu's are coming in fast. Maybe upgrade that later when his games are feeling sluggish.
