Iburst reduced there modems to:

UTD R2190
UTC R1820
USB(new) R1820

Antenna - R350
No more activation fee

Please find attached the new pricing effective Monday 3 April 2006. The changes which have been made are summarised as follows:

1. The prices for our user terminals and antennas have been reduced considerably.
2. In line with our re-branding, we have renamed some of our packages. The changes are as follows

a. Gig 1 has been changed to G1

b. Gig 3 has been changed to G3

c. Gig 6 has been changed to G6

d. Gig 9 has been changed to G9

3. We have added the option for clients to purchase the UT and antenna bundle. This provides them with a further price reduction.

4. We will no longer charge connection/activation fees to clients for either month to month or contract options

5. We will offer free deliveries on user terminals and bundle (UT and Antenna) options to all clients. Please note that this only applies for deliveries to major centers on the ‘Next Day 17H00’ service offered by RAM. If a client requires express or same day services, we will be forced to charge for this. Further, deliveries of just antennas must be charged for

6. i-Go Lite now has a 24 month contract option for both UTD and UTC.

7. The UTD is now available on a 24 month contract on the i-Go package.

Ok, so will I get some bonus bandwidth for the R3000 I had to pay for my desktop modem - for a piece of hardware that's only worth R500! (Still can't believe that I actually forked out the money, INSANE!)

We are the people that kept iBurst alive through the hard times - I think some bonus bandwidth would make me happy.

What say you?

agreed! especially considering I paid for mine *twice* *sigh*

yeah, bought a modem, on the way home got hijacked, then had to buy one again
