So in the past the problem was the 5G tower connection dropping, but the past two days it's been something different.

Ran a PingPlotter session for the first time, am I correct in assuming this shows it to be a Rain network problem and not a router problem ?

Connection is basically unusable during the red times, on all devices. Even accessing 192.168.8.1 via browser times out, which led me to think its a router problem but I'm not sure ?

You should be able to access the router at all times, whether the internet is down or not.

Yeah that's what I was worried about. Will hook up a wired device and see if I can get into the router menu when the connection is down.

Your router timing out is a local problem. Could be the wifi dropping, the router rebooting, or something as simple as a bad network cable.

Narrowed this down to the 5GHz Wifi dropping on all devices. Ethernet and Wifi 2.4GHz devices work fine.
Weird because 5GHz signal is perfect and the devices are just a few metres away from the Huawei 5G CPE indoor/outdoor router that's inside.

Already used Wifi Analyzer and changed the 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels away from default, even though the neighbours around me are only using 2.4GHz Wifi.

Will have to factory reset the router and see.
