New RAM for Late 2011 MacBook Pro

Hi,

I am finding that under my current usage trends I am running short on my 4GB of RAM with thrashing happening from time to time, especially if my computer has not been rebooted in a few days. I have 2 x 2GB DDR-1333MHZ in the system at the moment, and I want to sell them to get 2 x 4GB chips or 1 x 8GB chip.

I am looking for DDR3-1333MHz as well, as it seems this will suit the system best.
I have been looking at Super Talent RAM from Sybaritic (http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?cPath=512_696&products_id=59077). Has anyone purchased from there before, or used Super Talent memory in a Macbook Pro.

I have received a few offers on Gumtree for my genuine Apple RAM and don't want to let it go before I know that I can get good new RAM in a short delivery time.

Please offer any feedback, and if any of you (in the Cape area) are looking for 2 x 2GB chips feel free to contact me aswell.

Firstly you should make sure your Macbook supports 2x4GB Ram. It will be better to get 2x4GB chips.

Secondly rather sell the Ram on www.carbonite.co.za than on scamtree.

Thanks for the advice, have you tried Corsair RAM in a Macbook before, I do not want to buy the RAM and then it doesn't work in my laptop. I know Corsair does sell 'Apple-certified' RAM but it doesn't seem to be available in SA.
Thats what was swaying me towards Super Talent.

Should be fine, mostly the DDR3-1066 Macbooks that are tricky...
