Roku is a very nice product, but my next one will be android. The fact that roku doesn't support SA and you cannot install other apps are the biggest issue for me (like showmax).

My other problem with the Roku products is they don't seem to support AAC5.1 surround sound. I have a few HEVC files with AAC5.1 sound but my Roku 4 only outputs stereo, but it does support AC3 5.1. ( I think DTS5.1 is also an issue with ROKUs). Waiting for my 4K capable android device which the JIMC seems to want to keep for themselves

Looking to buy myself a Roku - just not sure which to get - going to be awhile before 4K TV becomes reasonably affordable - availability of 4K material - if experience is to be valued is going to be slow becoming available as mainline content - so no rush.

I'm more interested in the new Shield TV. The amount of functionality those things offer is just incredible.
