New router Purchased

So i have ordered my DSL-2500U - BECAUSE OF HEMPS :)
It will be with me on Monday morning.

Setup - SAOL 384k line Uncapped
Router - DSL2500u
Switch - 8port HP Procurve (10/100/1000)

So now im just waiting to install the router&make sure everything is up and running :-D

I'm currently having issues syncing that modem with my line, going to try on another line and see what happens.
Will let you know what i did to come right.
 
Tested the dlink 2500u on another line and it worked 100% :)
 
Hemps... Im having problems... :-(

The DSL light flashes for a few seconds, then stops, then it continues to flash and stop :-(
Telkom say there is something wrong with the line, i have called\logged a call.

Is it def the line or what? Will see what telkom does.:erm:
 
Mine just keeps on flashing, I tested it 3 other lines and it works 100%
Tested another router on my line and same thing - blinking dsl light, so leads me to believe it has to be my line.

I'm currently using the dlink on another line with no hassles.
Can you try another modem?
what do telkom say - I was told by 3 people that my line was up and running, called on sunday after testing the modem on another line and was then told they were still busy installing my line?
 
Well...im new to this thingy!

So he reason why it was not working was cos i had a phone on the line-have to use the filter to ensure dsl light is stable! :-)

Now im at home, on the NET :-D
