Hey all ...

Just started my new rust server ... (Well about a week ago) ... It is a freshly wiped server with a few addons.


There are only 2 admins at the moment and we are flexible in which addons we will be using so if you guys join and have input feel free to message me or leave a post here ...

Will you have sufficient Ram to support a community?
Unlike the last server that had to be cleaned?
 
Well unfortunately the only server I was able to buy was a Multiplay server, so the server I am assuming has the set 2GB of ram (not sure if this can be upgraded in some way ?)


I am keeping an eye out for a better more powerful server, but for now this is all that was available.


Maximum of 50 users, addons and willingness to listen to the players ... already started with a jail project and will be adding a smallish arena ...


So the 2Gb should be find for now
 
Just be careful as this was the same as what was tried recently on MyBB.
The guys put in the hours to develop the community as well as the world.
Many hours spent building & defending areas only to have it all wiped on server level.
It left a bad taste in many ppls mouths.
 
I can imagine, I am just looking for input and a bunch of players who wanna play rust and will also be fairly patient with new admins ...


This is the first server I have personally owned so yeah ... New experience for me
 
Sounds good dude.
I just wanted to highlight the possible issues.
Try to keep it small and it should all be fine.
