wtf R420k?? What a rip off. Also, it seems as if very little, cosmetically, has been changed from the previous model...

R420k for that? No thanks, I would rather drive an i10 like Nicci than spend that amount.

Looks good, don't know if the local site is wrong, but they list it with the old 155kw engine instead of the 163kw engine that the overseas models and the Golf 7 GTI has. I'm going to be pissed if this is the case

Besides it having the G6 GTI motor at 155kw & not at 162kw the top R-model still has the previous S3 motor SA-rated at 188kw instead of the current Golf 7 R & S3 SA-Rated at 206kw....fail on VWSA side.

Where do they come with the optional extra pricing.

e.g. Satellite Navigation System - R25,000 :erm:

Not really new either - just a mid-life facelift, with rather few changes. S'pose we'll get the newer engines once stock of the current mills has run dry.

Yeah? OEM satnav is pretty much always hugely expensive. The Driver Comfort Package on a new 3-series - which doesn't include a hell of a lot over and above nav - is R33k...
