New simcard, not receiving overseas sms

Hi folks,
I bought two new sim cards this morning, and I had to load at least R10 for the number to be activated. I've only so far started with the 1 new simcard.

Now, I'm using a few sites like Microsoft and Youtube which send me 4 digit codes to verify my number.

I'm not getting those. Weird thing is, I sent an sms to the new number from another phone and there's no sms on the new phone. I did receive some sms'es from Vodacom saying my calls, and number is activated.

I suppose I have to wait a while (maybe couple of hours to 12 hours ?) , before everything is really up and running ? Or how does this work ?

Are far as I’m aware Pr0nhub doesn't send subscription activation sms to South Africa, sorry for you op.
