The Premier League will introduce a squad cap of 25 players and a quota on home-grown players from next season. Clubs must include eight home-grown players out of a squad of 25.

From a Gunners perspective I do not think we will struggle too much, but already Arsenal has decided to withdraw from the reserve league. First of all we have a large number of very good players under 21 who can supplement the squad of 25. Secondly we can easily meet the home-grown rule and can even buy at least 4 players who are not "home-grown" in this transfer window, depending on which players are released.
I am not so sure that the other top 7 clubs (I must include Liverpool
) are as well positioned as Arsenal, specifically in respect of having as many under 21 players good enough to supplement the main squad, but I am not an expert on the other teams and would like to hear their supporters' views.
