Hi All,

My droid turbo recently went for a swim. Luckily I had insurance which paid me out in cash (as the Motorola is not available here). Nevertheless, there was no way that I was going to buy a 'local' phone when for a lot less, I could get a lot more by importing a device, again.

The only problem I had is that I need a phone URGENTLY, and couldn't afford to wait the usual week or so when importing. That's when I stumbled across Zeek Online. Unfortunately I couldn't find that many reviews on these guys, which is an actual shame.

I must have emailed these guys a hundred times asking all sorts of questions, and I always received a response within an hour. Further to this, their website is 100% up to date in terms of stock on hand. None of this BS where you order/ pay and then have to wait while the phone is shipped from the far reaches of the globe. Nevertheless, I ordered my Asus Zenphone 2, which is bloody fantastic by the way, and it arrived the next business day. Totally impressed.

I will most certainly be buying all of my future devices from Zeek Online. To sum it up:

* Extremely fast turn-around on email queries
* Website up to date in terms of stock quantity
* Knowledgeable advice and guidance in device selection
* Great selection of devices which you would usually have to import
* Prices are great

Only issue I see is the website has a craptastic layout. Unless you know what you're looking for, you will have to browse pretty much through every page till you spot something you might like.

We tried to keep the site very simplistic and clean, and have received very positive feedback for that.
We do acknowledge that there are some limitations and we are looking at improving that.

No and No. And I wear khurtas every day and the phone stays in a pouch in the left hand pocket. No chance of stressing the phone in my pocket!

Only realised it was bent when I ordered a Sony Smart Cover because the flap would not sit flush.

Nah, I see now I read up on Google seems many people had this issue and appears to be the phone.

Bought a Sony Xperia Z3 from Zeek Tech&Gadbets from their website zeekonline.co.za 3 months ago. My phone is now bent and ZeekOnline say that because it wasn't bent when I received it, it must be my fault. Really? I paid almost R9000 for the phone. It has been in a case since I bought it and I always keep it in a loose pocket of my outer garment. Their supplier wont replace the phone and they won't refund the money I paid for the phone. I found other online reports of bent Z3's so I figure I am not the only one whose phone has bent in this way. Must be a phone problem that allows the phone to be bent. Remember Applegate?

To make matters worse, just realised that their website does not have any contact details other than an email address. No landline number, mobile number or address (physical or postal). Buyers beware. The phones are cheap but if you have an issue with their grey import, you may not have any luck talking to them. You will have to email them and wait for them to get back to you. There are other online retailers who probably deserve our custom more than these guys.
Rather than spamming every post of ZEEK's, please create a new thread and give them the opportunity to resolve the problem.

Please don't make the mistake I made and buy from Zeek. Zeek only list an email address on their website - no phone number or physical address. Now that they have my money and I have their faulty product, I can't get them to resolve the situation.

Strongly advise that you do not spam every thread. Create your own thread per ginggs' advice and continue your quest there.
