Hi guys, so i've decided to get myself adsl for use at home. Currently running on an LTE router and enjoying the great speeds but i now need a bit more volume.
So i went to a Telkom store and the guy told me the only way i can get the installation fee waived is to sign a 24/36 month contract. I wanted to grab the 4meg Telkom simple deal (or any other bundled deal which includes voice&adsl line rentals & waived &nstallation) on month to month keeping all line rentals with Telkom.
So is it really the case that the free installation is only available on 24 month contracts? I already have an adsl router so don't really need another one.
Is there any other better/ cheaper way to get onto the adsl bandwagon?
