Taken off Hellkom's website
A quick note to everyone so we can all know what rates are going up and what rates are going down.. yes, there are actually a few items which went down.. unfortunately they are in the areas which Telkom faces the most competition and cannot exert their monopoly influence after 1 February.

International goes down - but that is where Telkom is facing competition the most. Local calls, line rental and installation goes up as that's where they have us by the throat.. the legalisation of VoIP in Feb will make things tougher for Telkom especially with international and local calls. A lot more local calls are made than international though, so the effect of international calls going down will be negligible as local call increases will cover the 'losses', so to speak.
