Hi guys. I'm finally getting ditching 3G.

Just some questions I want to ask before getting ADSL

I will be getting closer plan 1 for the free land line installation and my internet from Afrihost 2mb+50gigs for R297 p.m

Question I want to ask is after my land line is working do I just sign up with AH and let them sort out the adsl line?
Another question is what about the ADSL installation costs of R700 (can't remember the costs). Can I opt for self installation or AH will take care of that?

just get the telkom simple 2meg uncapped deal, free modem and installation for new customers...
 
Do you think one can ask for the discount so soon, as I just signed up and got my 2meg uncapped internet activated with telkom on Tuesday?
 
they have already upgrade me from 1meg to 2meg last Friday, it only makes sense to put you straight on 2meg

If i were you id find out if there are ports on your exchange before you sign up anything. if your area supports self install you wont need to pay installation fee. Also why not get uncapped 2meg from afrihost for R397
