tel me those gifted IT guys out there.if i got a new modem from telkom an adsl router.now the telkom guy installes it gets it up and running puts my username and password in.right there thats done.now tel me what can i do to run superfast 384 line.i mean what settings do i tamper with. i have xp professional windows.i allways read about this ports settings and other settings.dont get me wrong i know computers,but networking i know jack.let me understand this ports or let me set it by using that ip address 10.0.0.0.2 something like that.what is the standard.

Seriously though, best to leave things as is. You only *really* need to fiddle if you plan to do copious amounts of downloads.

tell me to use my dsl modem as a normal dial up.i put it the usuall things like username and password but what is the dialup number to the server
