New to MTN Data

My application does not show the signal strength? but I am connected. I just see something that looks like a wine glass but no bars?

That's right,

You'll get the wine glass with the signal that appears next to it, if there are no barr's then you have no signal but if you're connected then you speed is probably very slow?

No, got speed test 800kbps, still shows no signal on the app. Could it have something to do with display resolution of the screen?

Try increasing your screen and see

800Kbps isn't bad at all

Not screen resolution, software is at latest version.

Another question, where do I get the latest firmware for the card?

As soon as you connect, you should have a server screen where you can click next once you click next it should automatically update the firmware.

Doesn't it check for software updates of the 'connection client'? I am looking for the firmware of the card. Does it check for that as well?

Good day,

There is only one version of Firmware for the device at the moment so there are no Firmware upgrades or updates at the moment,

As far as your software not showing the signal bars, maybe remove the software and re-install and see what happens.
