New Tower in CPT

Hi

Ok, so I connect to day , ran old faithful utTraceStar , low and behold there seems to be a new tower in cape town it's listed as tower 22 and I am getting -45db to -54db no kidding with no antenna , have a screenshot to prove it . Anyone know where the tower is ?

Wow, I hope it is that good, It will kind of make sense becasue noone will be on it yet, you can probably expect that to drop.

Where around are you? You can use their coverage maps and click on planned coverage to see what tower it could be.

EDIT: hmm nothing on their page yet, but I guess they have to turn the tower on to test it first, maby it will only be official in a day or two.

btw, are you staying on that tower now?

EDIT2: Ive check my pings and they seem better but also still bigish spikes.. efinatley better than the last few days though and Ive gone from being mostly on 3-4 light to 5 most of the time and a bit of 4.
It could be constantia.. if I wasnt capped id check speed.

Okay if you look at the Cape Town coverage map (the one that shows the whole city, and the whole coverage section has been updated btw) then it shows both Kirstenhof and Constantia as up.

But if you click on the areas they go back to only showing those towers as planned.

Maby those maps will be updated soon and the towers are actually up, it seems so from my connection, but not as good as I hoped. Then again it could just be a good night for me.. not shure. If only UTTracestar worked for me.

I am in the CDB , so doubt it is Kirtenhof or constantia. I seem to consistanly stay on this tower 22. I use to always connect to the Holiday Inn Tower.

Ok , so it seems they have put a tower up in Gardens , more than likely on the Gardens Center building .Which Rocks.

Ja, but that one was on the "network status" page two days ago already.

Enjoy it.. but it seems as if Constantia might be up too, it is already on the larger maps and my connection seems better.
