So I got me the Samsung UA55ES8000 over the weekend. Also had 4mb ADSL installed yesterday after having iBurst for 4 years.

I need some help in the best way to setup the TV for streaming TV series and movies and eventually cancelling DSTV completely. I did some 3d YouTube streaming yesterday and it played fine without any buffering.

I have no idea where to start in making the most of my viewing experience and best and cheapest way in circumventing all the region restrictions while getting access to the latest series and movies.

I am on a TI uncapped 4mb account and my line can get 9mbps.

Your line is fast enough. Get plex, and get vpn/unotelly, netflix, etc... should be good to gk from there.

Got Plex up and running last night and can access from any devices on the network. Only need to get a media streamer for the older LG Scarlet tv.

Unotelly is setup with Netflix but found the content a bit disappointing. Currently setting up RSS feeds on utorrent to grab new episodes as they are released. Will give Hulu a go later.
