Hey ya'll.

Have 50Mbps up/down fiber installed at home.

Can anyone recommend some decent usb wifi dongles for our gaming PC's ? Wanted to use cables - but it will be too much of a mission.

Thanks

TP-LINK Archer T4UH

if you don't need massive range get the normal one

TP-LINK Archer T4U

base the choice of dongle off your router's wifi specs.. if your router has 5GHz band, get a dongle that is 5GHz.. the 5GHz band has better performance than 2.4GHz, BUT has a shorter range than the 2.4GHz band.. if your router supports MIMO, make sure your dongle does too.. dedicated antennas for sending and receiving traffic..

in essence, spend 30 minutes reading up on wifi and understanding the different bands and other specs.. then go over your routers wifi specs and decide from there which dongle to go for.. tp-link, d link and netgear would all be good choices, but they are not the only ones on the market..

Excellent advice. Start with your router. Also try and get the same brand of dongle as your router. The integration will be easier, more stable and there may be other bells and whistles that work well together based on manufacturer proprietary software or tools.
