What is the difference between new and a demo vehicle? Specifically the difference in mileage.

How much kilos are acceptable as new? 50km? 100km?

Depends.. new vehicles are driven from the factory floor onto carrier trucks, trains boats etc.. then driven by the dealership for checks like wheel alignment etc.. I wouldn't think 100km to be excessive for a new vehicle..

My bakkie had 63km on it when I bought it new..

Demo vehicles would typically go out for test drives etc, so they can do a few thousand before being sold..

Happy Saturday.

Thanks bud!

Yeah I would hope less than a 100, if that much, for new. Hopefully less than. 30-50km.

Demo, 5000-10 000 max.

But I don't trust demos. I've seen how those chaps drive those vehicles and patch them up again.

Nothing better than a demo or rental that still has plenty of warranty.

Why? Because if it survived that it’s never going to die.

But from my experience demos sell with a whole lot more mileage than that.
