Good day all:
I have a client who wants to have whole-home wireless coverage, but its a large home: under roof approx.900 m2.
They currently have a single
wtf
300 mbps TP link router and one extender.
There are many dead spots as a result, particularly the bedrooms which are set off from the main living area.
Plenty of concrete walls etc too.
They do not want to open up roofs and install cat5/6 and a add bunch of AP's in each room so that option is non-negotiable even after much pleading from myself :erm:
So, I'm thinking of installing a TP-link Archer C7 to their existing ,modem/router, and grabbing a few TP link 300 mbps extenders as a start:What does the hive-mind think? I would go Asus, Ubiquiti etc, but they are on a tight budget (not over 5k without some serious convincing)
Use case: they just want to browse the net and stream some Youtube videos.
Its a family of 4, with guests arriving weekly that like to jump on for a few hours so max 10 users.
I have had tremendous success with the Archer C7 in the past with other largish homes, but I feel this home may become a nightmare when it comes to wireless coverage.
Any suggestions, thoughts welcome
