Newest Screen cards.

Hey er what is the newest screen cards on the markets ATI and Nvidia? what is best for gaming?

I might be wrong. But on the lists I have it is the Geforce GTX295 1792MB card for Nvidia and the ATI Radeon HD5870 1GB

and just the other day I wanted to upgrade to 4870... man you just can't keep up with technology anymore...

The HD 5870 is the best on the market at the moment.

5870 is the new hotness. Almost as fast as a GTX 295 but uses less power and is cheaper. They're hard to get hold of though.

We're still waiting for nVidia's new card - probably only next year some time.

Meantime the 5970 has just launched - basically a 5870x2. It's the fastest card right now.

By the sound if it the 5870 is the best. Sad case as always, upgrade and 6months down the line one needs better hardware. The 5870 and the GTX295 just comes with a bit of a hefty price tag. Will wait 6months. lol

As usual Anandtech has an excellent review.

My favourite part is Eyefinity with a 5970 with 3 30" Displays for 7680 x 1600!! ****ing insane!
