Hi folks

It is great to see that the articles in our new news section is gaining in popularity and are receiving an increasing amount of hits (reads). The poll is not receiving as many votes as I expected, and if you have a chance please give your opinion about these issues. The amount of votes is of value when dealing with the media or using this information for other purposes. If you have an idea for a poll please let me know.

As the regular visitors of the MyWireless forum know we will be conducting some independent tests regarding the different broadband services (ADSL and MyWireless). After we have sufficient testers from each service we will conduct the tests and publish the results. I am certain most of us will be quite interested in a comparison of the performance of these services. If you are a MyWireless user and you are willing to assist with the testing (it will be very easy and quick) please mail me with your location and package details.

Good day RPM and fellow MyADSL members

I think the reason the polls are not receiving the amount of attention it deserves is because it is located about three clicks away from the main page. I know from my routine that when I visit MyADSL I immediately click on the forums link to access the bowels of the forum where the fun begins.

I have to consciously alter my routine now that the polls are available on the main page (which I rarely accessed because the content rarely changed). Slowly but surely I am getting into the habit, but if I may suggest a change, allow me to do so now. I suggest that a prominent POLLS link be put on the top header of www.myadsl.co.za next to Forum | News | FAQ | Speed Test | Contact Us etc.

Thus, it is always there no matter where in the MyADSL navigation structure you might be. Perhaps a date next to it stating when a new poll lasts was added…

I agree with antowan... while I sometimes visit the main page to catch up on the news posts, most of the time I head straight for the forum. If I could see there is a new poll (regardless of the page I'm on) and it was just one click away I would take it. I believe you would also get an overall better response from members if you implemented this.

Anyway I appreciate all your efforts, keep up the good work []

Hi RPM

my suggestions about news section

1 The news articels posted are excellent but the small text size
,makes reading unpleasant and difficult.

2 Can you add a link from the forum to news section?,I could not find the news section until you remind me the address,I think most members bookmark the forum .

There are two links in place already. Both 'Home' and 'News' at the top of the page will take you to the news section.
