Hi,

I've just singed up this weekend with Openweb and got mail the news server address.

I'm using a app called newsgroup commander to read the news server but can't seem to connect to it.

Am I correct in assuming I need to log on to news.is.co.za? I've entered my isp login details as well but still no luck?

You should be able to access it with that ip and don't need to enter your isp details. You just have to be using the openweb account and you should get access.

Thanks....I'm currently running on my "int" account...that's probably why

That's definitely why! You can only access the news servers using an IS account.

PS. http://www.newhost.za.net is a local site so you'll still be able to access is with your local account

BullFrog...about newshost....can I download prison break e13 and just watch it or do I need special software to manage the download? I'm still a bit of a noob regarding torrents ect...
