news severs not working with afrihost

i dont know if i did anything wrong be it appears that news sever downloads dont work with afrihost.

news.is.co.za is my sever please correct me if im wrong

Not sure about news servers but I couldn't access any website with my Afrihost account. Had to revert back to my capped Telkom account....

i made a few mistakes a few times and same with my dad

Thanks but it was working fine for the last few days and all of a sudden just nothing
Someone else reported the same in another thread so it seems the problem is with Afrihost

Isnt Afrihost seacom? In other words it wont connect to news.is.co.za or news.saix.net.

I'm on afrihost and slowy downloading from news.is.co.za . Think the server is struggling with everyone burning cap at the end of the month.

I've never seen such high speeds, not even with the WA trial account. Lucky you I guess.
