News24 iPhone app crashing

Maybe it's just me... For the last couple of days the News24 app on my phone has been crashing. Click the icon, starts to open and... crash.
I've tried reinstalling, deleting then re purchasing in the iTunes store (both from my phone and machine, just in case) but no luck.
So, is it just me?
 
Have you rebooted your phone?

I did all those things, and in the end a reboot did it. I'm not sure if the other stuff was necessarily but I did it.
 
R13... I'm on 4.3.5, jailbroken (waiting, waiting, waiting for IOS 5 untethered) but I've never had an issue like this one.
Madman88... Yep, rebooted after every reinstall just in case.
Damn, it's just odd.

Two things you can try. Hold the power button and the home button simultaneously (middle button) until the phone powers down and reboots (this does a hard reset - dont worry you wont reset your phones contents).

If that still didn't resolve the issue uninstall the news 24 app by clicking and holding on the news 24 app icon until you see a x in the top right corner. Click on it to uninstall the app then install it from the app store again.

He's tried the reinstalling as he said in the OP
 
Yup, it is crashing and they pulled it from the Appstore.

I installed the update and then it just crashed to the homescreen.
 
Thanks so much for all the suggestions guys. Tried the hard reset and reinstall this morning... No luck.
Hoping kingrob is right and they are aware of an issue 'cos this news junkie is hating trying to find local news with international news apps.
 
I see there is an update for the News24 app to ver 2.8.4 - says it includes "bug fixes" so maybe download and give it a go and see if it works better for you.

Indeed it does :D Now with new push notification freshness as well.
