Newshost speeds

Anyone else getting weird Newshost speeds ? I have a 384k line (unfortunately downgraded when I moved as there is NO 4Mb available here arrg) and normally I get 40 odd Kbps download speed , however since yesterday I am getting +-200 Kbps but in spurts. My link will download then stop for 2 secs then resume for 3 secs then stop again etc etc.

Now I am on teh waiting list for a 4Mb line so I am assuming its becos of that and Telkom is trialling ?

I get this on my one computer. I think the file is still downloading to your computer but is not registered by Grabit. When Grabit "catches up" it registers it as downloading at a high speed.

I download at full speed from Newshost. After all, the NZB file is only a few kilobytes

I'm actually glad that Mweb is shaping the NZB downloads heavily during office hours. I never get above 5kB/s in total from multiple news servers. The speed would gradually climb till about midnight where I can get almost full line speed (4Mbps).
