Heya peeps,

From yesterday evening i haven't been able to access newshost. It seems as if the site is down ? or has the address changed in the meantime ?

Yes it's down. Apparently some router got hit by lightning and they are busy fixing it or something. I have no idea how long it's still going to take as I don't have direct contact with the guys working with the tech between the server and the internet.

We have purchased a new web host. (Current web host is still down, 48 hours now and no sign of a fixed router) New server is up just need to transfer files and database from old server. Will keep you guys posted. Sorry about the downtime.

Site says back in 5 minutes and it's almost 5 days

Yeah, it's taking them ages to get the router fixed. Stupidly enough they don't have any extras lying around in case of failure. It took them about 4 days to replace a router. That shouldn't take more than 2 hours or less and it wouldn't have been an issue had they kept proper back up equipment on site. I guess you live and learn and for that reason we have decided to move away as soon as possible!
