Nexiam generic

Wow hectic yeah I went for scope down my throught and up my rear end :D

AND YOU DID NOT ENVITE ME?????????????????????????????????????????

Seriously though ... from reading up to here I assume this is about bad acid reflux? Be careful for this meneer and try and keep it under control. My ex had the same .... but really bad. He would wake up at night and start pacing up and down on the verge of tears from frustration ... I would rub his chest ... make him drinks and feed him gaviscon but nothing helped. This have been a problem for him for a few years already but got worse and worse. Eventually he also went for a scope and they found that his esophagus (yikes ... dont know spelling) have been damaged and it actually has a name ... something something syndrome or disorder where the cells have started to get damaged and could become cancerous. He now has to go for a scope every year or so to keep monitoring it and was put on a strong drug. Cant remember the name now ... but something something pump inhibitor .

Any generic version of Nexiam out yet? My little 3 year old is on Nexiam and will now be taking it twice a day. Almost R800 a month!!

You can buy Nexium generic (and Nexium itself) over the counter in the USA now. Find someone who is going over and get them to bring you some bottles. They are very small.

I was on twice a day up until the OP last month. Your best bet is Trustan but that will bring you to the R800 as well. No getting away from the cost sadly - I have been through them all in the past 7 years. Fixing the acutal problem is the only thing that has actually worked for me

Our baby had the same reflux issues and went on Nexium when she was less than four months old.

Solution? Ignoring all the cot death drama bull**** and allowing her to sleep on her stomach.

Problem solved.

Thanks guys. Will have a look for those alternatives and discuss with GP and Pharmacist.

Sauron: My 3yrd old sleeps on his tummy out of his own. I think he knows by now what is best for him. He is still too young to describe the heartburn when it happens but we can hear when he starts coughing and just looks like he is in some pain. Its worse when he drinks gassy cooldrinks. So we have stopped that for now. Also trying to figure out what foods to avoid. For some reason he prefers plain bread with marge nowadays. Don't even want to touch other foods. I think he is already aware that some foods will lead to reflux. :(

Please note these are not generics.

Nexiam is ES-Omeprazole. The ones you've offered are omeprazole. These are different molecules although related to each other.

The clone of Nexiam (made by same manufacturer in the same facility but marketed by another company for cheaper) is called TRUSTAN.

For me the bland food was the best to avoid the acid. My problem was a haitus hernia though which meant that my valve to my stomache couldn't close. Best things for me were to avoid fruit, milk based products, and anything over spiced (Although I had curry and always regretted it). 2x 40MG of Nexiam a day and the problem never went away - nausea persisted through it all.

TLDR: Diet helps

Nexiam generic is Nexemezol not sure on spelling but manufactured by Nexiam manufacturer ...... didn't work for me though.
