So all... who is the "Next Big Thing" gonna be? Who will we be taking about next year. I mean... except for Messi and Ronaldo? Of course, they would have to be transferred to a big club and light up our tv screens!

I think we gonna be speaking about Messi and Ronaldo for a long time.

They are both so young. Messi hasnt even peaked yet, which is scary.

I know from the Barca camp: I hope Bojan will go on loan, so he can get some good experience and game time.

He has said he doesnt want to leave Barcelona though.

Of course we'll be speaking about them due to their young age and lots of time left. I just mean - who's next? Who will make a splash? Like Valencia at Wigan. I mean he must be doing something right if he is being tied to some big clubs. You also have some brilliant players in the middle tier in Italy who haven't made such a huge impact on people because they aren't seen in the Champions League.

Look at this year... Santon was a revelation against Manchester. He managed to contain Ronaldo (they still lost, but he was DAMN good), or Mauro Zarate for Lazio (I think...).

Hehe, I have not seen enough of him to predict anything just yet...Apart from the two awesome goals, he has failed to make an impression...But give him time :)

Sheet man... If those two goals didn't leave enough of an impression, then I would not want to work for you. EVER. :p

haha, what I mean to say is, as awesome and crucial as those goals were, in his subsequent handful of performances he failed to do anything at all. But, give him another year :)

Watch and wait for season 2010/2011 and coutinho at Inter. That boy is going to be brilliant. Was brilliant for brazil at the recent under 17 world cup. a Real shame brazilian laws means we have to wait till then to get him to inter.

For next season its too early to say but according to mou guys like krhin, obi, destro and belec. All 4 are from the inter youth team and played with santon and mario ballotelli.

Froooooooooooooooooom....? Info? Reasons?
Diego plays for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, a brilliant playmaker who also scores goals, he's on the verge of joining Juventus...maybe then he can be in the spotlight with regular Champions League football next season.

I look at the top teams now and struggle to find a playmaker superior to him.

He's one of those rare players who can take charge of a match and drive a team to victory using a combination of skill and a high work rate. I'm hoping he plays a role next month here in the Confederations Cup for Brazil. :)

WOW u dont know who Diego is ? man your football cred has just dropped by a few notches

So I would have known who it was had the poster said "Diego from Werder", I don't know all the names and surnames of all the players on earth. My staunchest apologies for not remembering the name of a player I have only read about and not had the chance to see in action:rolleyes:

Having said that, if he is a playmaker - I really cannot see why Juve are buying him. Hopefully Chelsea swoop in for Giovinco. That boy is being messed around big time.

If United sign Dodo (Brazilian teenager). They say he could be the next K@k@

/Hey! they said not me, I'm just repeating:p

dodo? aren't those extinct already?

Pity Brazillians tend to become (______O______) after a few years so no value in them at all :D
