Next-gen Google Nexus 7 tablet available from July: sources

Google will launch a new version of its Nexus 7 tablet powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor around July, two sources told Reuters, as the software giant pushes deeper into the cut-price mobile hardware market.

I have two Asus T300 tablets here at work and their screens are terrible. When you place a Samsung tablet next to an Asus the Asus screen looks like it went through too many wash-and-rinse cycles ... colour looks washed-out. This will always make me weary of an Asus product. Asus can make 'em cheap, that is for sure, and that is important for Google with this product, but I prefer to pay a bit more for quality. A screen is after-all the thing you look at all the time and if that is not good enough then the experience is bad. The resolution might be up-there but what does the colours look like? Red looking pinkish doesn't work for me.
