I waited a few months for these to arrive and the are finally here..
Prices have gone down too:

i10 1.1 GLS MANUAL R 99,900.00
i10 1.2 GLS MANUAL R 109,900.00
i10 1.2 GLS AUTOMATIC R 119,900.00

Grabbing myself the 1.2 Manual :D
Pretty light on petrol, ABS, airbags front and back, electric windows, its a bloody steal, best in its category!

Does it include the 150 000 maintenance plan? Thats damn cheap!! Wish my car was that light on fuel:(

This looks great. Can anyone please confirm the service plan and warrantee or maintenance plan details?

Afaik it does but exludes the service plan which is roughly R3500 for 3 years/40000kms. A slightly better option is the Figo from R129,730 (Incl. VAT).

Figo's R20k more though, and older tech.

Thats not bad, but it should be 3 years/60000km instead or if you can extend it after that , then thats cool.

what do you guys think is a better deal - the new shape i10 GLS 1.2 for R107,000 or new chev aveo sedan 1.6 L with electric front windows fitted for R115,000?

which would you say is a nicer car or better deal?

i10 is just smaller engine but salesmen was going on about it had more torque or whatnot than the aveo, so you get better performance from the i10 (probably yanking my chain there, what do i know) going to try and push for more discount or service plan. would have taken the aveo but the car is still on the ocean they keep delaying the ETA and just getting annoyed now.

True but I do like the look of it and apparently that TDCi engines an ace. I did get the wench the i10 though and she loves it.

The only reason why I didn't go for this one, is because the of it's size, the sandero's boot is bigger and has more space inside as well. Also, it's got a 1.6 enjin, but lacks the electric windows, which I can/have to go without. :)

Very nice little car for a female, imo. New picanto is also going to be a winner.
