I wouldn't call it awkward, I'd call it bloody beautiful!
I have seen pictures of the next new Subaru, and they obviously picked up quite a bit of inspiration from this....

The bottom picture is closest to the next one - I was shown it by Subaru SA - you will see that the rear is very similar to the STi that I posted.

This is the rear... I was impressed when I saw it a few months back.
I love it! From what I was told, we are very close to production, and very little has changed from the concept.
This particular one is a Hybrid, BTW - which we might see here as well.

Guys, they are just concepts. Look at what the first one turned into.
I think the Advanced Tourer concept will be toned down for production and will be an interesting car. Possibly beautiful.

My impression is that it is a bit ugly. Not unlike some of the newer Nissans. Also, the car manufacturers are wondering what to make the next style. However, I am sure it is mechanically superb. I have a Forester and it, along with a Honda are the most reliable cars I have owned
