Nexus 7 $25?

I got my hands on a nexus 7 and everywhere on the web is states that you receive $25 playstore credit and you can download transformers.

Have anybody been able to do this in South Africa? If so how

Nope, but then again, I don't have my credit card details registered with the Playstore.

Looks like you get the $25 credit in your Google Wallet. Guess which country (among others) doesn't have Google Wallet yet

So yeah, probably can't get that credit.

Do you own a Nexus 7?

My guess is no. If you did, you'd know that the Google Wallet app is "unavailable in your location".

But if you have a Nexus 7 and somehow managed to get the credit, by all means, share?

I have a Nexus 7 and got the $25 credit here in SA.

Follow this tutorial, just ignore the first step ie. doing a factory reset.
It also allows you to download all the material not available on Google Play in SA, such as magazines etc.

but I cant use it

I can, but then it gives some error about validation and they will email me to confirm my details etc etc
and then the amount is refunded...

but I dont get an email
