The launch of a new nexus device is always an exciting time and tomorrow we'll see two new devices (Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5P) being launched, showing us the roadmap for android going forward. We already have a pretty good idea of what both devices look like what features they will/won't have and they look really promising.

I'll be upgrading in December and I'm more than likely going to be getting the 6P. However I have not imported a device from overseas before and have a couple of questions that hope some of the postersposters of myBB can help answer.

1)What is the best way to import a Nexus device? (Orange store or Play Store + FedEx)

2)Are Vodacoms LTE bands supported on the 6P? The link below specifies which bands the phone supports and I would like to know if our bands are compatible for LTE. It's not dealbreaker if I can't get LTE (I'm fine with HSDPA+ and I have good WiFi access throughout the day). Can someone please confirm if I will be able to at least get HSDPA+ in SA with this phone?

Are you getting the 6P/5X or are you holding out for something better?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, have a good day! :)

Pretty amphed for the 5X and the 6P.

Currently using a Samsung Galaxy S4 with GearCM. It does everything I need it to if I'm being honest, so I don't really need an upgrade.

Still, would like a phone with a massive battery as screen on time isn't too great on the S4. Read that the 6P should be packing a 3450mAh battery, which would be a very decent uprade.

I hope the pricing is decent coz we seems to really get screwed with the SA pricing due to the import duties, taxes and shipping costs.
