NFS: SHIFT

Man I hope so. The last couple of NFS games have been lacking...
 
It's quite interesting that this game is coming out around the same time as Forza 3 and GT5 (hopefully).
 
Must be noted that shift is a sim and not arcade like previous nfs. Its same dev's that created GTR 2. So don't buy this if you're expecting yet another underground.

Man, brings back memories. The best NFS bar none - the factory driver missions were the best!

On topic - why, oh why would EA want to try reinventing the NFS brand anywhere near the release of Forza3/GT5. I see epic fail on the horizon...
 
From all the titles I still think that Most wanted was the best and most balanced of the lot.

After buying three titles after expecting better things and everytime disapointed.

I will not buy any N4S anymore there is better titles out there.

It's Grid but with much more realism. Grid leans more to arcade feel, where as Shift is simulation. It's full on real world track racing in the same league as GTR or rFactor.

Ye, I really like PU. I liked the whole "test driving" race :)

This game is something really refreshing, Im loving this and DiRT 2 both great games!!
 
From NFSUG2 till NFSUC there were good and bad. Personally did not enjoy Most Wanted, Carbon was ok'ish, Pro Street just sucked a$$ (boring), Undercover was good but too easy. Still my all time fav is Underground 2. But lets hope that Shift is as good as the reviews say. I've got mine on pre-order.....
 
most people hated pro street but i actually enjoyed it quite a bit, at least the frame rate was stable. i bought undercover and returned it 2 days later how can they release game with a lousy framerate, especially a racing game. Grid and flatout:ultimate carnage are still my 2 favourite console games.
