Seems pretty hardcore.

Announcing the new channel, Eddie Nelson, Senior Vice President, EMEA Networks, Sony Pictures Television said: “We are delighted to launch a new Sony-branded channel for the men of Africa, working closely again with such an established pay-tv player as MultiChoice. With our great line up of movies, series and not-to-be-missed action and reality programming, SONY MAX offers world class entertainment and provides advertisers a fantastic opportunity to promote their brands.”
Hit films on the cards for the next few months run the gamut from comedy and martial arts to horror and adventure, and include Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Zoolander, Jackass, Shaolin Temple, Congo and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Adding a turbo-boost to the SONY MAX menu is the inclusion of Mexican professional wrestling (known as Lucha Libre) in CMLL Presents: Arena Mexico as well as the fast-growing sport of mixed martial arts in TKO Major League MMA.

Punting a channel with screenings of movies that were released when Charlie Chaplin was the most happening act on celluloid? Meh...

However some Unbeatable Banzuke and Ninja Warrior will appease the sadist in me once more. :twisted:

Though I'd rather watch oiled up Mexican women in a skimpy bikinis if you want an answer to my sexuality. Hopefully my wife would vouch for that :D

Yeah I don't think the movies are anything to write home about. I wish HBO would get syndicated here.

So I tuned into this new channel and came across a show called Manswers which basically adversed two cheap whores houses outside L.A complete with pale, skinny, no doubt druggie, prostitutes... Basically a man's guide to picking up STDs :sick:
