Chocolate Brownies Yay!
*250 gram butter (500gram butter @ Spar R25)
*2 packs Marie Biscuits Crushed (2x Spar Brand Marie Biscuits R6,25 each)
*1 500 gram icing sugar (Spar Brand Icing Sugar, R12)
* 40 grams coco (Cadbury brand cocoa 62,5 grams @ R11)
* 2 Eggs (R3 for both)
Total Cost R63.50
Makes about 45 4x4 cm cookies 2cm thick
Method:
Melt the butter
Add icing sugar and cocoa and mix well
Add eggs and mix
Place batter in microwave for 4x intervals at 45 second each stirring after each interval
Take mixture out
Add cookies & Mix well
Place in 2x glass bowls and let cool down
Cut out to appropriate sizes and place in fridge.
Easy snack for the fridge.
I've made this 5 Times already, ive found that adding more butter (+100 grams) and 1 extra egg helps during the cookie mixing-in process.
I'm considering adding some nutts and/or coconut for my next batch. What do you guys recon?
Do any of you guys maybe have any good brownie recipes to share?
Regards

An easy way to crush the Marie biscuits is to turn the pack so that it stands upright on a hard surface like on a table. Take your hand palms and compress down on it hard like you would a hamburger.
This force will crush the cookies inside the package meaning less of a mess for you to clean up.
