Nightsurfer torrents blocked

So for a while now I've been unable to download any torrents after midnight. Obviously this is annoying when I have nightsurfer data. If I open a p2p client my internet completely stalls after a few minutes, then when I close it my connection magically speeds up again.

I've checked netlimiter, tried opening web pages, tried traceroutes, literally everything times out until I stop p2p connections. HTTP and Steam downloads run fine. Anyone know what I can do to sort this out? I've tried "unrestricted" APN.

Also if anyone can give some advice on improving network speed that would be appreciated, as most days I'm maxed out at 1mb/s on speed tests. I'm connecting by USB tethering my phone (Galaxy S6)

try your sim in another phone and do a speedtest.. also do a speedtest on the S6 to compare.. if speeds are more on the other device, you may need to factory reset your S6

Nope. I was just using P2P this morning (00:00 - 07:00) did just over 10GB.

I'd recommend a dedicated LTE modem if possible. It Might help.

Edit: my speeds improved drastically from using a phone to a LTE modem. I get anywhere between 30-50mbps on the modem and barely over 15mbps with my phone, Huawei P8.

Both my LTE dongle and Galaxy S5 get up to around 50mbit (over 6mbps). Indoors with no special antennas or anything. So Im gonna say your phone should do much better than it does unless something went wrong like RedhotNeo suggested.
