So this morning i could not go to sleep, so round about half past 12(midnight) i decide to you tube, knowing i have enough night and day data, so at 4am i get the notification that my data is finished, all good cause i will still have day data to do my everyday stuff with, but to a big supprise my day data is also now finish...how? Why?

apparently if you are using vodacom and you start a session before midnight, then you have to disconnect the modem and reconnect it in order to use your night owl data.i dont believe this is the case with telkom mobile who switch you over automatically.as for the other networks im not sure what their policies are.

Could be that you finished your night surfer data then continued on your normal day data.

I was thinking that, but then why would it be like that, night surfing is for night surfing, and day data is for day, i mean if your day data is finished then you cant carry on using your night data...

Think of it as 10gb of any time data and 10gb of night data. If you run of night data, it will use your any time data, as it has no restriction.
