I've been using a borrowed EOS 30D with the standard 18-55mm kit lens (non-IS) for just over a month now and I'd really like to get something of my own.

I have my eyes set on the D3200 and came across this -

http://fotodiscountworld.co.za/shop/d3200-body-18-55mm-vr-lens-55-200mm-vr-lens/

R7080 for the body + AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR + AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED

Are the lenses included in this bundle worth it or should I get the cheaper bundle that comes with the 18-55mm VR lens only and buy a better zoom lens? I primarily take pics of landscapes and nature (Insects, birds, animals, flowers, etc).

I'm afraid everything in photography comes down to "it depends". I bought the same kit as you when I started out (non VR lenses though) and my 55-200mm has hardly seen usage. If I can go back now I'd find a bloody body only and buy a 35mm or 50mm prime and be on my merry way.

You say landscape and nature, for landscaping the 18-55 works quite well, it's a surprisingly good overall lens. For nature I guess if you're into taking bird pics etc. then personally I would've bought the cheaper kit and save up for a decent zoom.

For birds and animals I find 200 mm is a bit short. In terms of Nikon lenses, you have two other options:
1. Nikon AF-S 55-300 mm (~R5300)
2. Nikon AF-S 70-300 mm (~R8000)

For comparison, the Nikon AF-S 55-200 mm VR goes for about R3400 on its own, so it makes sense to look at pricing on a single lens kit (18-55 mm) with an additional Nikon AF-S 55-300 mm.

The 55-300 mm lens is quite a decent lens for the price.
