Okay I want to know if it is easy to fix a loose lens housing for this camera because I can get it from Insurance Salvage at a real bargain.

I believe that is why he's getting it cheap. The insurance company is selling it off to recoup some of their losses.

oh right... i would think you should call Nikon and ask them how much a replacement "lens housing" is.. you might have to show them what you are talking about.
it could be that the camera was dropped with a lens on and it bent or broke something else inside the camera. how much is cheap by the way?

Yes I work for an Insurance Administrator.

R300-- Cheap
However it does exclude a battery and charger but I can get a battery and charger from bid or buy :p

Well Sold it for R4000 so made a nice little profit :D
Nice. It's advisable to use a decent hand sanitiser after handling a Nikon. I've heard they're contagious. :D
