Interesting move by Nikon. I mean, they still have loads of unsold D5100s, and now they release a very minor upgrade. Unless you were just waiting for a build-in WiFi Nikon.
I found one interesting change though: better battery life with the same battery. The new EXPEED 4 is probably responsible for this, since the Milbeaut chip it is derived from uses a better process technology (Suvolta DDC, claimed to be about 30% more efficient).
Even more interesting, they kept the burst rate unchanged, even though EXPEED 4 should be capable of going much faster. So either a D7200 or a D400 will be needed to extract maximum performance out of EXPEED 4.
