Nikon S70

Hey guys need some advice, my father recently had a robbery and the insurance have given him R2500-00 to replace his camera.

They have advised him on the Nikon S70.
From what I read this model is old.

What do you advise?

Yep. Far as I'm concerned you pay a premium for a yellow logo; something that doesn't help you take good photographs. That Lumix is a helluva camera for the price. Check reviews for the Nikon here and here (S80) vs the Panny here and here.
