Hello,

I just joined this forum as I was directed by Nintendo as they could not help me :(

I was given a Nintendo 3DS from a friend, this 3DS was bought overseas and he gave it to me because its faulty.

The problem:
1. I open the 3DS until I hear the click
2. If I push the top screen forward even by half a millimeter the 3DS switches off.

Where can I take it for repairs? Can you please advise me of a reliable repair center?

I contacted Nintendo but because this was not purchased locally, they cannot help me :(

Thanks in advance

Tell them you'll pay to have it fixed. Have you tried unscrewing the whole thing and checking if there isn't something obvious you can fix.

Dont loose any screws! Or even worse, close it up and find you have extras! LOL.

But yeah, tell them you want a quote to repair, as you may be willing to pay to fix it.
